After a 12 year gap, the Danish thrash metal band Hell’s Domain has finally returned, and will release their second album “Terminal State” on 27 November 2025.
With musicians who have previously turned their folds in names like Hatesphere, Grope, Artillery, Crionic and Koldborn, Hell’s Domain are definitely not unfamiliar faces on the Danish metal scene and their new album shows that Danish thrash metal definitely has its place in the world of metal anno 2025.
Trimmed from all excess, the album’s 8 tracks encompasses everything from fast paced bulldozing thrashers to midtempo metal anthems with impeccable vocals, a rhythm section tight as hell as well as stellar lead guitar work from a host of guest players.
The album was recorded over a decade, and finally mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen in June 2025 (The Haunted, Sick of it All, Kataklysm, etc.) and should instantly appeal to fans of Testament, Forbidden and Artillery.
Originally formed in 2007 by bassist Lars Knudsen and guitarist Bjørn Bihlet, with the intention of churning out some catchy Bay Area-inspired metal, Hell’s Domain was joined by Anders Gyldenøhr on drums and completed its line-up in 2010 with the addition of Alex Clausen on vocals.
After recording a crude demo in late 2010, the band started writing material for their debut album.
The self-titled effort was recorded and mixed by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio and released in 2013.
Many shows were played on native soil in support of the album, as well as a Minotaur in Germany supporting Dark Tranquillity.
Now in 2025 Hell’s Domain is yet again cementing their position as one of the most relevant thrash metal bands of the new millennium, with their own brand of vicious thrashing metal!
