ASEPTIC is a raw, two-piece death metal assault hailing from the shadowy caverns of San Jose, California. Formed in 2014, the duo – Philip Cortez (guitar/vocals) and Luis Guardado (drums) – delivers primitive, murderous, old-school death metal that feels ripped straight from the late ’80s underground tape-trading scene.
With their new full-length, Deranged Disturbance, ASEPTIC unleashes 12 tracks of unrelenting brutality. From the eerie instrumental opener “Voices” into the chaotic title track, through savage cuts like “Abducted,” “Lustful Butcher,” and “Trophies,” the album is a non-stop bloodbath of grinding riffs, thunderous drums, and guttural vocals soaked in pure derangement.
