THRASHBACK RECORDS will release the sole demo, released in 1991, from Mesa, Arizona Thrashers L.V.I. (LOUD VERBAL INSANITY).
Formed in 1987, L.V.I. quickly became a fixture in the explosive Arizona Metal scene, sharing the stage with the likes of Atrophy, Sacred Reich, Tynator and Alowicious Toole at such legendary clubs as The Mason Jar, Desperados and After the Gold Rush.
In 1991 L.V.I. would issue their sole demo, “Mentally Embalmed”, garnering strong reviews and selling hundreds of cassettes locally. The band would garner label interest, but as was too often the case, would disband before a contract would be signed and an album could be unleashed.
This 2022 reissue has been remastered from the best band supplied sources by Rob Colwell at Bombworks Sound, new cover art was handled by Sidjimbe Art Studios and a brand new interview was conducted with bassist Fred Barringer by Chris Forbes of the legendary Metal-Core Fanzine. CD is packaged in a jewel case with a 12-page booklet packed with rare archival photos. CD is limited to a one time pressing of 300 copies worldwide.
