The Destruction of Sanity” is the second EP effort from Festering Remains and the follow-up to 2012’s Stabbed Beyond All Recognition EP. Just like “Stabbed Beyond All Recognition”, “The Destruction of Sanity” holds a perfect mixture of old school and modern Brutal Death Metal but now with an even more developed and serious musical and lyrical concept. Unlike “Stabbed Beyond All Recognition”, “The Destruction of Sanity” also features Bass and REAL drums. “The Destruction of Sanity”, once again produced by the mastermind Ronnie Björnström (AeoN) is a 5-tracks long devastating piece of genuine old school brutality with lyrical stories of murder, insanity, perversion and the worst of horrors within the human mind.
