Description

MindSnare was formed in 1989 by Chris B. on guitar, with an initial lineup that recorded several demos between 1990 and 1992.

In 1994, the band underwent lineup changes and solidified its presence, engaging in intense live activity and performing alongside prominent metal acts.

In the following years, further lineup changes led to new releases, including demos, EPs, and their first album in 2001.

In 2002, the band signed with Forever Underground, releasing a second album in 2003 and a split record the following year. They continued their live activity, participating in major festivals and sharing the stage with iconic bands from the metal scene.

Between 2008 and 2011, lineup changes persisted, but the band maintained its recording and live performance schedule, solidifying its place in the underground scene. In 2014, a new album was released, and Mind Snare continued playing live until further lineup issues slowed their activity.

In 2019, with a renewed lineup, the band returned to action, celebrating 30 years of career with an extensive anthology concert in 2021.

In 2024, they completed the album 33 Curses at the Nazarene, set for release in 2025—a work reflecting their discontent with society and its worsening over the decades.

The album contains tracks from the band’s discography, re-recorded and reinterpreted to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the band’s formation. In addition to these songs, a previously unreleased track titled “Black Flights” has also been included.
