jacc is a raw black metal / blackened death project from Australia.
Operating as a one-man force, jacc has carved out a distinct presence in the underground since 2020 with a string of self-released albums that blend razor-edged tremolo riffs, programmed battering, anguished vocals, and expansive, atmospheric weight. Releases such as Casus Fortuitus, Cathartic Sorrow, and Melancholic Bliss established a sound that is simultaneously raw and tightly controlled, capable of raw aggression, hypnotic grooves, and brooding, almost cosmic scale.
The latest full-length, Eternal Empyrean of Sepulchral Nullity, continues and expands that trajectory. Mastered by Steve Kilpatrick at Soundfackery Productions and featuring cover art by Jef Whitehead, the album unfolds across seven tracks of black/death intensity.
Cosmic and sepulchral themes drive the material: starless voids, wormhole passages, ashen horizons, and universes kneeling beyond the unknown. The result is crushing yet expansive, drawing comparisons to the more atmospheric reaches of the genre while remaining firmly rooted in raw black metal ferocity.
