IN GRIEF is a newborn band hailing from Italy featuring current and ex-members of estabilished bands in the national underground such as PROFANAL, BLACK OATH, NECRO, CONGENITAL DEFORMITIES and YAKISOBA. Not many bands around the world have yet showed such a devotion to the originary death/doom sound that flourished in England in the very early 90’s. All the people that miss the first outputs of PARADISE LOST, MY DYING BRIDE and ANATHEMA will be pleased beyond doubt. Nevertheless IN GRIEF are not a mere tribute band, their personality is strong and open to different influences, like early KATATONIA or second period TIAMAT, here honored with an exclusive “Whatever that hurts” cover that won’t be featured on the CD version.
