INTERITUS, a word of Latin origin, literally translates to ruin; violent/untimely death/extinction; destruction/dissolution; the perfect title to compliment the devastating force within.
ESCARNIUM’s goal with “INTERITUS” was to take their brand of traditional death metal to the deepest abysmal depths, both musically & conceptually, while maintaining the identity they have carved out with their earlier offerings.
To aid in this, the band enlisted ABORTED’s own, John Bart Van Der Wal, at Hewwetover Studios in the Netherlands to handle the mixing & mastering duties. With JB behind the board, “INTERITUS” explodes through the speakers like cannon blasts and artillery mortar fire!
