B.E.E.R. are a five piece death thrash band out of Ensenada, Baja California. They formed in 2010 and only released two demos before a quick exit in 2014. But one member, lead guitarist Saúl Aguilar, wasn’t quite ready to call it quits. Three years later he would resurrect B.E.E.R. with a new lineup; releasing their debut album ‘Blinded By Evil’ in 2021. After this B.E.E.R. would see a few more member changes with Arturo Jara coming in on rhythm guitar and Jesus Oviedo on drums completing the current lineup.
In November of 2024 B.E.E.R. released their sophomore LP ‘Fractal Reality.’ A nine track ripper that beautifully blends the best elements of 80s thrash metal with modern death metal stylings. Themes include anti-religion, anti-politics and of course, beer. These dudes might not be the most serious band ever but that doesn’t stop them from writing some seriously awesome death thrash. ‘Fractal Reality’ is full of punchy riffs, dizzying leads, haunting melodies, technical drums and galloping bass with a vocal performance from Jesus Bram that ranges from punishingly brutal to sweetly serene.
