Welcome to Steel City Death Metal.
Crawling out of the sewers of Hamilton, Ontario comes Mortuary Slab. This four-piece came together with one goal in mind: to write the finest, dumbest Death Metal, full of hard-hitting riffs without any filler.
Formed in 2023, The Slab boys are made up of John and Fin from CDN Records label mates Last Retch, Ryan from Winnipeg’s Withdrawal, and Rino from Toronto’s Six of Swords.
Mortuary Slab draws influence from New York, Florida and Denmark Death Metal, with a hint of Hardcore attitude. The band released a 5-song EP entitled Necrorealism on CDN Records in May of 2024. A limited edition rave case cassette was later released in August.
