Biography
Bitter is a Slamming Beatdown Deathcore band with dedicated members from Montreal, Lanaudière and Gatineau, Quebec, set to release their debut EP Slamosaurus Rex later this year, following the release of two singles; “Two-faced Fuckface” and the recently released “Malevolent”.
The band dig their influences from Xenotheory, Kanine and The Acacia Strain, and offer a distinctly sardonic vibe, mixing violent themes and caricatural metaphors in a modern fashion. The band was founded in December 2024 by father and son Yan and Kilian.
The line-up was then slowly built by choosing musicians that shared complicity and friendship. The line-up is a healthy mix of experience with some members already deeply embedded in the province’s music scene, as well as talent-filled newcomers.
