Description
Tortharry is a long-active death metal band that was formed in the Czech Republic in 1991 and has never disbanded or stopped activity even once. They are the host of the MetalGate Czech Death Fest OpenAir, held every year in the Czech Republic, and have also performed at a lot of other festivals and live events. They also performed with SEPULTURA in 2012, and it is no exaggeration to say that they are one of Czech’s leading death metal bands.
The three demos released by TORTHARRY from 1991 to 1993 and the demos by their predecessor band EXECUTOR have been handed down by fans as masterpieces that embody underground death metal, but they were previously only included in a box set released in 2016 and it’s difficult to get nowadays.
DTD Records proudly announce the release of these four demos in 2024 with new, remastered sound on double CD! In addition, since the clarity and intensity of the sound had already been sufficiently improved in the 2016 remastering, the remastering this time rather leaves some noise intact and focuses on the analog-tape feelings.
The cover of this CD features artwork by Štefan “UNSEEN” Ležovič, who writes the lyrics for TORTHARRY.
