Description

On their second album this project from the banks of Volga river continues their historical and ethnographic exploration. The concept of the album is based on Relacion de las cosas de Yucatan chronicle written back in 1566 by the Spanish bishop Diego de Landa. This chronicle contains background information about Maya civilization, their customs, life values and religion. The main character of the most songs on the CD is Kukulkan – the supreme god of the Mayapan pantheon, the savior and the unifier of the peoples of Maya. The album includes songs based on the legends of Mesoamerican civilizations as well. The band plays refined technical death metal enriched with ethnic coloring and acoustic interludes.
