Biography
Diabys is a Canada-based prog death band with very marked Technical and Melodic influences, comprised of experienced members from different latitudes. It is impossible not to remember the best works of Pestilence when listening to Diabys; solid compositions with permanent, complex elements, led by powerful riffs and virtuoso solos – clearly Technical – with solid vocals and the permanent presence of bass, along with more classic drums that still have the particular style of the genre.
Portals of Annihilation, their debut work, was independently released in April of 2023, with the music having been composed by guitarist Michael Dorosz over 17 years earlier. Now in 2025, the band has signed with CDN Records to see the physical release of their debut, with new material to follow.
